Successful PR Alumni Reunion

The CPUT Public Relations Management Alumni Reunion was a huge success on Saturday, 26 March 2011. Approximately 300 graduates attended the event.

CPUT and the PR Alumni Reunion committee wish to thank all guests who attended the event, guest speakers, the MC, the live band and our many sponsors who filled our goodie bags. The MC, well-known comedian, Siv Ngesi, had guests in fits of laughter with his witty jokes. Our guest speakers, Lance Witten and Wesley Lynch captivated the audience with their fascinating topics.

The CPUT administration building’s foyer was transformed into a classy venue. Shen Winberg and his band charmed the audience with the live music.

Many of our alumni won prizes drawn from our fish bowl. These prizes included American Swiss watches, an Apple iPad, Foschini Gift Cards, Tafelberg furnisher vouchers, Bench T-shirts, an Equinox Spa Voucher and luxury hamper and many more.

Two days to go before the CPUT Public Relations Management Alumni reunion brunch takes place! Those who graduated with a National Diploma and/or a Btech in Public Relations will meet at Cape Town campus Atrium on Saturday, 26 March 2011 from 11h00 till 13h00. Regret, no partners allowed and this event is not open to current National Diploma students.

Our guests can look forward to the antics of our MC, Siv Ngesi, guest speakers, Lance Witten from eTV News,( who will speak about the synergy between Public Relations and the Media) as well as Wesley Lynch, the CEO and founder of Realmdigital, (who will enlighten us on Ebooks). Put on your dancing shoes for Shen Winberg and his band will make your hips sway to the tunes of Michael Buble and John Mayer.

All PR graduates will receive a goodie bag upon arrival! Place your business card in our fish bowl to enter the draw to win an Apple iPad, American Swiss watches, Equinox Spa, , Canal Walk Hampers, beauty vouchers, Tequila, watches from Sterns, energy drinks and T-shirts from Springleap.com. The countdown begins...

There are only five days to go until the much anticipated PR Alumni Reunion on Saturday, 26 March 2011. As most of you will already know the event will be taking place at 11h00 at the Atrium, which is situated on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building on the Cape Town Campus.

The event promises to be a highly entertaining one with Siv Ngesi as the MC, who will have guests in stitches and Shen Winberg who will spoil guests with his musical talent. Aside from the great networking platform which this event provides, guests will also be able to gain some insight into the PR industry with talks by e-TV news journalist Lance Witten and Wesley Lynch, founder and CEO of Realmdigital.

There are loads of great prizes up for grabs, so don't forget to bring along your business cards and pop them into our fish bowl for the lucky draw and you could be the winner of an Apple iPad sponsored by Digicape. If you're not as lucky to win one of our stunning prizes, not to worry as there are loads more items in our lovely goodie bags which will have your friends and family drooling with envy.

A trip down memory lane at the PR alumni reunion 2011

Take a trip down memory lane! Come and join us at the CPUT Public Relations Management Alumni reunion on Saturday, 26 March 2011. It will take place in the Atrium at the Administration Building, CPUT Cape Town Campus from 11h00 till 13h00.
